Message from the Executive Director<\/p>\n
Clear Passage Educational Center (CPEC) is an independent study (site-
\nbased) charter school that serves the needs of students in grades 9-12. We
\noffer safe harbor for youth who require an alternate learning environment,
\nhave dropped out of school, or are in jeopardy of doing so. We support
\nstudents in securing their high school diploma and in achieving their college
\nand career goals. Our personalized, individualized learning program
\nfocuses on each student?s unique strengths and needs.<\/p>\n
Driven by the guiding principles of purposeful learning, compassionate
\npractices and self-expression, Clear Passage encourages parents to
\nparticipate in the education of their students, while partnering with local area
\nbusinesses, community agencies, local area schools and educational
\ninstitutions that share our vision.<\/p>\n
Aware of each students unique needs, teachers schedule advisory
\nmeetings at times that work with the students? schedules. Advisory groups
\nled by CPEC?s teaching staff provide a platform for monitoring student
\nacademic progress.<\/p>\n
The willingness to implement flexible leadership remains in the forefront of
\nour consciousness. The ability to make critical decisions for the good of our
\nstudents\/parents and the long -term sustainability of our program is a
\nresponsibility that the school?s leadership fully accepts and honors.<\/p>\n
