IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING CONFIDENTIAL STUDENT DATA<\/strong><\/p>\n

A recent order in a lawsuit against the California Department of Education (CDE) is impacting all schools across the state, including Clear Passage Educational Center.<\/p>\n

In April 2012, two organizations, the Morgan Hill Concerned Parents Association and the Concerned Parent Association, filed a lawsuit against the CDE alleging widespread, systemic non-compliance by local education agencies with special education laws. The suit also alleges the CDE fails to monitor, investigate, and correct such non-compliance in accordance with the law. The CDE denies these allegations and is actively defending the litigation.<\/p>\n

Our school was not involved in the lawsuit and is not the subject of any of the suit\u2019s allegations.<\/p>\n

Nonetheless, as part of this lawsuit, CDE has been ordered by the court to release all data it has collected on general and special education students since January 1, 2008.<\/p>\n

INFORMACI\u00d3N IMPORTANTE RESPECTO A LOS DATOS CONFIDENCIALES DEL ESTUDIANTE <\/strong><\/p>\n

Una orden reciente en una demanda contra el Departamento de Educaci\u00f3n de California (CDE) est\u00e1 afectando a todas las escuelas en todo el estado, incluyendo Clear Passage Educational Center.<\/p>\n

En 2012 de abril, dos organizaciones, la Asociaci\u00f3n de padres preocupados de Morgan Hill y la Asociaci\u00f3n de Padres Preocupados, present\u00f3 una demanda contra el CDE alegando generalizada, sist\u00e9mica incumplimiento por parte de las agencias locales de educaci\u00f3n de las leyes de educaci\u00f3n especial. La demanda tambi\u00e9n alega que el CDE no puede controlar, investigar y corregir dicha falta de cumplimiento de conformidad con la ley. El CDE niega estas acusaciones y defiende activamente el litigio.<\/p>\n

Nuestra escuela no estuvo involucrado en la demanda y no es objeto de ninguna de las alegaciones de la demanda.<\/p>\n

No obstante, como parte de esta demanda, el CDE ha sido ordenado por el tribunal para liberar todos los datos que ha recogido en los estudiantes de educaci\u00f3n general y especial desde el 1 de enero del 2008.<\/p>\n
